If you are considering or have enrolled in SBTPG's paper check bank product, there is an administration fee of $12 applied to your client's refund transfer disclosure. As part of the agreement, preparers must consent to the Check Administration fee program when enrolling.
This fee only applies if your client chooses to receive their refund disbursement by paper check; if your client chooses another disbursement option the fee is not applied. The fee only applies to checks that do not offer a Fast Cash Advance.
As stated in the Terms & Conditions, the preparer receives $4 for every disbursement check.
